A male therapist
at the YMCA here in Atlanta gave me my first massage. As I
allowed myself to enjoy the sensual as well as the therapeutic nature of his
touch, I noticed that his hands were always restricted by the draping. His
strokes always stopped short of their natural completion. 
I began
searching for bodywork that was more emotionally, spiritually, and
sensually connected.
That's
when I discovered the Body Electric massage weekend. Through their teaching massage as a way of restoring healthy attitudes toward intimacy
among men, I learned to touch and be touched, nurture
and be nurtured.
I received my first training at the Body Electric School in California in 1992. Since then, I've completed 3 courses in bodywork (including the traditional 600 hour massage school program.) I'm certified in deep tissue, reflexology, acupressure, Nuat Thai, and Swedish techniques. I'm also certified in hypnotherapy and I'm a Reiki Master. My work mirrors my nurturing and spiritual nature.
